Get in touch →About me

Experienced, results-driven Technology Leader with a proven track record of building and scaling high-performing, agile engineering organisations across start-up, scale-up, and large enterprise environments. I specialise in tech leadership, platform modernisation, and delivering market-leading consumer-facing products underpinned by engineering excellence.

I am deeply focused on building high-performing agile engineering teams that deliver world-class software and platforms, aligning customer needs, technology capabilities, and strong org design to formulate and execute transformational strategies. I have led globally distributed teams, fostering a culture of quality, ownership, and continuous improvement, with a strong passion and track record of recruiting, mentoring, and coaching exceptional individual contributors and engineering leaders.

With a product-oriented mindset, I have taken ideas from inception to GA release, working closely with customers, product, and senior leadership to define engineering strategies that deliver measurable business value. My experience spans multiple industries including healthcare, energy, telephony, travel, and financial services. I excel at articulating complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences and providing clear, transparent updates to senior stakeholders to ensure alignment throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Technically, I bring deep expertise in designing, building, and operating scalable, secure, cloud-first platforms. I am proficient in AWS and Azure, Kubernetes, serverless workloads, IaC-provisioned and observable platforms, leading teams to deliver at scale with a strong cost-optimisation/FinOps mindset while balancing speed and sustainability.

I have owned tech roadmaps and the full SDLC, evolving and modernising platforms in partnership with leaders across organisations in which I have worked. My focus areas include real-time scalable platforms and AI/ML-enabled solutions that unlock measurable business value. I have established metrics-driven cultures, benchmarked against industry best practice, and built upskilling programmes and initiatives to develop industry-recognised skills.

I regularly present engineering vision, strategy, and business cases to peers and senior stakeholders, identifying innovation opportunities and influencing decisions through clear, value-driven proposals. I am driven by technical excellence, empowered teams, and ensuring engineering is a strategic enabler for long-term business growth.
